The Oaks Summer VIP Viewing Day
Our second VIP viewing day of the year and we had so much fun welcoming new faces to The Oaks for an exclusive day of one-on-one viewings.
We are always more than happy to book you in any time that suits you, for a special viewing of our rustic wedding barn but the buzz and atmosphere around a weekend of VIP viewings is a unique way to take your first look around our extraordinary wedding location.
Months in the making, a selection of our wonderful, recommended wedding suppliers set up their beautiful talents in situ, giving you a good idea how your day could look. Along with supplying the sounds, DJ Dave also has a wide range of light up letters and up-lighting. His new medium sized Mr & Mrs lights are the perfect fit for under our top table.
Amy Bakers Cakes supplied a show stopping draping bow cake and delicious cake samples for each of our goodie bags! It’s safe to say we enjoyed a slice in-between viewings with a cuppa!
Local ceramic extraordinaire Nicky Yorke brought her beautiful top selling napkin rings and leaf place settings which she tells us is fast becoming a popular personalised wedding present too (see here).
Inspired by Lisa’s stunning stationery was positioned upon each place setting, showcasing two leading trends. One rustic with twine and laser cut mini hearts and the other colourful summer style bows in beautiful pastel shades.
We also took the opportunity to set out our inspirational in-house décor packages. Different every time, our seasonal foliage draped across tables as if it was growing around plates and cutlery. Sprawling from each end of the top table, ivy trailed around our illuminating lantern and candles. Another stress-free décor option. Not one table display is the same as we forage fresh foliage from within our 25 acres of land to create something extra special and unique for each and every wedding.
Each couple who attended left with our iconic goodie bag, extra large in size! Full of treats, goodies and info on all our fave suppliers along with a glossy Oaks brochure. As it was an extra special VIP day, we also gave each couple a bouquet flower box, complete with fresh blooms, partly picked from within The Oaks grounds and a pick and mix tub . . . yum!
