Recommended Supplier - Judith Brown

On a very sunny day in July, we paid a visit to the creative studio of Judith Brown. A stones throw away from The Oaks, Judith is based locally in Leek and resides in the loft of one of the beautiful historic buildings on Edward Street. Brides are welcome to book an appointment to browse her unique bridal creations along with occasion jewellery and day to day pieces.

After setting up her brand in 2004, she has quite a few amazing success stories under her belt, including selling her work at the V&A for a year and also the British Museum in London! She also holds workshops once a month in her premises allowing guests to create their own wire jewellery under Judith’s encouraging guidance.

Her journey began when she purchased coloured wires from a floristry supply shop (long before the days of hobby craft and ebay she assures me!) and began experimenting with stitching techniques she gained while studying embroidery at Manchester School of Art. Her light and airy studio is scattered with vases and vessels full of wild flowers, you can easily see the direct relation her work has with flora.

We are thrilled to have such unique and local talent on our recommended suppliers list.
